Next, your really need to make sure you don’t overeat.  The usual three meals each day is actually not enough for most people.  What you should instead try is eating five or six smaller meals over the course of the day.  This will ensure that your metabolism keeps burning away while keeping you away from snacking between meals.

Lastly, set a target weight for yourself.  A lot of people are destined for failure straight out of the gate by making a goal like “I want to weigh less”.  How can you tell when you did it?  When you see you’ve dropped a pound?  Or twenty?  Without a set goal, you’re not going to achieve anything.  Pick a weight and watch your progress.
