The idiot proof diet is a strictly diet handbook that claims that they can help you lose 9 pounds every 11 days. Not just the first 11 days, but EVERY 11 days. Can that be possible? Does it truly work?
I was rather skeptical when I first heard about it from my brother.
However, after looking for such a long time for a weight loss diet that will work without having to starve myself to death, I decided to go ahead and buy. This diet handbook is a 11 day diet cycle that you can keep continuing to keep losing the weight. So now, after the first cycle of the idiot proof diet, here is my idiot proof diet reviews.
Did the diet handbook work? Did I Lose the 9 Pounds?
Although I did not lose the 9 pounds as mentioned in the handbook, my results were pretty close. I lost 8.Three pounds from the first cycle of the idiot proof diet. And most impressively, I even saw the results within the first week of the diet.
The diet handbook is really easy to follow as there isn’t any complicated rules or procedures. Also, other than the that I paid for the handbook, there was no other program or equipment which I needed to buy.
The food that you can eat for the diet is easily found and I could find food that didn't require much cooking as I could throw my food together and start eating in less than 5 minutes.
Diet…Will the diet require me to starve myself?
Whenever I spoke to my friends about my new found weight loss diet, they would start questioning me if there was a need to starve ourselves and how impossibly unattainable that would be.
However in this particular diet, there isn’t any need to starve. And…each day, you will get to eat four meals! Yes, by eating more meals a day, your body is constantly working on the food. The increase in the metabolism rate in your body helps you to burn more calories than before.
After that, the next question…what are the types of fodd we needed to shun?
You definitely cannot be wolfing down pizzas day after day and still expect to drop pounds. However, you will still get to eat your favourite food before the second round of the idiot proof diet. I will get to that part later.
Now, you will still get to eat your pastas. You will get to eat your meat (which is something I can’t live without), your cheese and eggs, and of course, fruits and vegetables. This diet, unlike the other diets, ensures that you will be dropping pounds without you having to affect your nutrients. So you don’t have to worry that you will end up becoming unhealthy and weak at the end of the diet.
Alright..Here’s the Exciting Part
You know how you can never stay on one diet for too long? You will crave for food that you cannot have. Yes, it is true that what you can’t have simply makes you want it more.
I’ve been on so many diets and failed so many times simple because I would try to last as long as I can without certain food or following certain diet. But after at most a month, I would give up as results don’t come fast and I’m losing that tiny bit of weight and giving up all my favorite food!
Here is where the diet gets real awesome. Once the 11 days of diet is over, you will be able to enjoy a 3 days break from the idiot proof diet. While on the break of the diet, you will get to eat ANYTHING that you want. I am currently in the break right now and I am loving it!
Will I Put Back My Weight During the 3-Day Break from the Diet?
If you had followed the diet guide well, your body will already be attuned to burning more calories than you normally do so no matter what you eat, it is burning lots of calories off your body.
Also, during the 3 days of cheat in the diet, I didn’t crave much for unhealthy food, I actually craved quite a lot for fruits. Perhaps it was a new habit from the 11 days of diet. Plus, I don’t seem to have the appetite to eat too much because of the habit of eating 4 times a day.
A few of my good friends joined me in the weight loss diet and it worked great for all of us. We did’t end up wolfing down every unhealthy food we could find as we didn’t have to starve ourselves white we were on the diet. We did eat till we were satisfied and when the break came, it just allowed us to indulge in the food we love so that we wouldn’t end up bingeing on them like what people normally do at the end of a long diet.
So the 3 days mini break from the diet is an extremely great idea…especially when it is for a person like me. I really do not have much self-discipline so most of the time, I end up cheating in all my diet.
It was the very first diet that I could go through without cheating. I was able to sail through the weight loss diet without much effort and I also lost the weight easily!

One reason why I didn’t have to cheat was the fact that they didn’t have strict rules like you can only eat this or that today. The diet gives you lots of flexibility, allowing you to make your own choice based on your own likings.
Plus….you are even allowed to indulge in night snacks!
Yes! I was completely elated when I saw that. I am a night owl and when I am on normal diets, it always make my stomach growl in hunger. My stomach would be growling so badly that I would not be able to sleep properly. Usually, I end up eating so much due to the hunger that it results in me eating more that I should have eaten.
And…You get to drink wine!
I’m sorry if I got you thinking that you will get to down bottles and bottles of beer down your throat each day. You will get to drink, but not too much. Have a glass of wine after dinner would be alright.
